This poner just saved the month.
The never ending reminder that copyrestriction is a scam, and so is Microsoft.
What is the fucking problem with reposting to any other Git website? Like fucking Gitlab?
Literally the only reason they are throwing a shitfit is because of some covert reason like publicity and donations.

The problem is that they are under attack and currently little to nothing can be done to retaliate and annihilate everyone, at every level involved. >because of some covert reason like publicity and donations.
Well, you might not be off, but, given the utility rendered to the community, those guys may deserve some extra bits and recognition.
If the issue is just downloading YouTube videos, you can do it quite easily from VLC.
Media > Open Network Stream, paste in YT video URL
Tools > Codec Information, copy the long URL at the bottom where it says location
Paste this into a browser window, download the file.
Neat. It works as advertised.
this is to make it hard for people to download things they want censored before they delete them.
I find it interesting that this take down occurred just as the Hunter Biden shit started getting posted.
Looks like Alphabet/Google/YT have added an extra layer of protection to music. Neither current youtube-dl code (2020.09.20) or the VLC trick can download videos with music anymore.
That happens all the time. It will get patched soon, tho the devs might be a bit busy for a bit.
It probably wont work for most vids, but an invidious instance is working for me with https://invidious.snopyta.org/watch?v=pXRviuL6vMY
when ytdl doesnt, and has the download option on. You could try a couple instances on https://invidio.us
or even just a generic yt-to-mp3 site
Hey anon this site still downloads Jew tube's videos, it might seem a bit suspicious but at least it works, it's pretty quick and gets the job done, it might be the only downloading site that we have at this point.https://www.y2mate.com
Now would be the best time to download literally anything that you can, you never know when they'll come for this one too.
Thanks for necroing a thread that's been dead for two weeks with your insightful commentary.
