Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where the Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures because of their encounters with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.

To the North and West is the island of Greneclyf, inhabited by Changelings. To the South are the deer colony of Nyutt Radjur and the Zebra colony on the Corsair Coast. The Navy used to have to battle Zebra pirates regularly. Just north of the Zebras are the former ‘mageocracy’ of Barrad. A few Unicorns and one deer broke away from Wittenland many years ago. What was found by the troops who liberated it would give even old Curwhinny a run for his money.”
