This post is inspired by >>>/mlpol/59382.

I have been researching UFOs and aliens for decades. I have found the best way to understand the phenomena is to time-line it and then see what else was happening around the same time. Time-lining it allows the evolution & origin of certain aspects to show up which means you can trace things back to origin points.

I don't concern myself with if each UFO/alien report is real or not real, but I look at it in a wide ranging meta-view and this shows a sensible evolution which implies it is real and therefore the reports are generally mostly real.

I am not sure what the best way is to do this data dump. I have decided to do a succinct 300 year history which can be expanded on by me asking questions. This allows me to keep my efforts in proportion to actual board interest levels.

This initial section is to show the development of human sky technology and also shows that nothing ET UFO like is happening yet.

1758 - Book: Concerning Earths in the Solar System, in which Emanuel Swedenborg detailed his alleged journeys (spiritual) to the inhabited planets (up to Saturn + 5 exo-planets), solar system barrier, suns are black.
1783 - France: Manned balloons
1803 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utsuro-bune
1850 - and onwards triangular shapes are reported in the sky but when researched most of these can be associated with comets and comet fragments (comets tend to break up near Earth, Sun and Jupiter into sharp angular fragments).
1851 - Dr. William Bland sent design: steam engine driving twin propellers suspended under airship to Great Exhibition, London
1852 - Comet fragment dramatically crashes to Earth with sheets of rain (comet water) and dark ominous clouds with read streaks before the massive chunk crashes into the English channel. The other interesting part about this is that it happens near dawn, and the dawn side of the Earth is in the direction of the Earth's travel around the sun. So the Earth overran this comet fragment and sucked it down into it. This dramatically shows how astronomical phenomena can produce UFO reports. Pic #1 Attached.
1863 - “Aereon” by Solomon Andrews (inventor) flew, unpowered, controllable dirigible,Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
1871 - Mystery airship, Mt. Washington, New Hampshire (Solomon Andrews?) See Pic #2. This is one of the earliest UFO reports and we can see it is consistent with an airship. We have no reason to conclude it is ET yet.
1871 - (Vril, the Power of) The Comming Race fiction novel by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. This book in Germany inspires the use of the term Vril for unknown magical/physical forces and leads to the nick name The Vril Society.
1881 - a comet was mistaken as an unusual object in the sky. See pic #3.
1886 - Book: A Dweller on Two Planets, Atlantis, life on Venus, advanced technology, karma, Mt. Shasta. “No telescope will ever reveal human life on Venus; not that it is not there, but its forms are of the One Substance effected by a range of force rendering them imperceptible to earthly eyes." -- what we see here is the myth of sentient life on other planets in our solar system starting to form. There is no reason to reject this notion at that time.
1886 - cheap way to manufacture aluminium is discovered. At this point airships are flying around, some are secret projects. They use bamboo and cloth and ropes. Cheap aluminium allows them to be made of this metal. France is becoming a leader in airship design. You can think of these airships as the B2 bomber of the day, these are very serious military tech for spying and air to ground attack. Therefore there is secrecy around designs as well.
1891 - Contactee Thomas Blott (William Simpson, 1828-1910) The Man from Mars is a book about a Martian explaining how Mars is great and Earth sux, basically. It is not clear if this was supposed to be fiction or a reported event.
1893 - In the article “Man of the Year Million”, H. G. Wells envisaged humanity transformed into a race of grey-skinned beings, stunted and with big heads. -- the greys!!

So with that look so far we can see many of the elements of aliens and UFOs exist but there are no reports yet of flying saucers or any meaningful reports of flying triangles under intelligent control. All of it, when it comes to ETs, is human imagination. We can reasonably say no ETs are showing up in this 1700s-1800s time period.

In 1893 science starts to speculate about gravity and if we can understand it better and control it.

1893 - Oliver Heaviside makes paper called A GRAVITATIONAL AND ELECTROMAGNETIC ANALOGY http://sergf.ru/Heavisid.htm -- this will be very important as we continue the time lining.
1894 “Aug 26, British admiral reported sighting a large disk with a projection like a tail” – Keyhoe (1950) -- Airship? Science experiment? There are no good references for this report and so it can't be examined further.
1896 - Germany 11 Sep, Zagreb daily newspaper Obzor “The day before yesterday we received a telegram sent by an amateur journalist. He informed us that David Schwarz from Zagreb has invented an [aluminium] airship which he hopes he could direct on his own free will."
1896 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_airship -- this is the UFO flap of 1896-97 but they were airships, not disks, triangles or spacecraft. We know that airships won't work in space so these are human-made. This shows that human advanced tech can be a unsolved mystery. See pics #4 and #5

>For example, the Italian physician Cazzamalli attempted in the 1920's to elicit heterodyned radiation from human brains by exposing them in vivo to the field of a relatively powerful radio transmitter (6). He claimed to have observed and recorded a variation in such radiation when his hapless subjects were emotionally aroused or engaged in creative pursuits. Among his results was the finding that hallucinations could be induced in highly suggestible individuals by radiation.

In 1960, after Ferdinando Cazzamalli is dead (1958) a book is published about his works. In 1966 USAF translates the book ( http://trash-art.at/trash/TheRadiatingBrain.pdf ). The book mentions technology that can go up to about 428MHz. Cazzamalli doesn't make people hallucinate by putting them in EM fields, he takes people who are psychics, psychotics, palm readers, water diviners, people who can easily visualise, and even people who have vivid dreams etc. and after they have relaxed (in the EM field) he verbally asks them to do the thing that makes them have perceptions/hallucinations or verbally says things like "think about your dead son".

I don't know where:
>He found that these subjects hallucinated at a particular frequency (between 380 to 500 mc) and reported definite ‘pulsing’ in the brain. -- Budden >>89832

comes from. And it may not mean that the subjects were put into hallucination by 300-500MHz but that when asked to do their hallucinating the signal from there brain was that frequency. Much of the language in the papers and articles can be read from multiple perspectives and could easily be read as the EM fields made the hallucinations, but that is never explicitly stated in the 1966 USAF translations of Cazzamalli's book.

So remote inducing of unintended hallucinations by Cazzamalli in 1920s is dubious. Despite it being repeated in science papers.

>The Cazzamalli experiments were carefully duplicated with modern equipment, of much greater sensitivity than his. His "oscillatori telegrafica" (presumably a transmitter as used for wireless telegraphy) was replaced with a very modest low-power oscillator. The reason for this was twofold.
...
>To discover if this "something" was subjectively noticeable by an individual, a weak oscillator swept through the band of 300 to 600 MC with the request that the subject indicate any points at which he might notice anything unusual. The subjects were not allowed to see the dial. At a particular frequency between 380 TO 500 MC for different subjects, they repeatedly indicated a point with almost unbelievable accuracy (as many as 14 out of 15 times).
>Subsequent experiments with the same subjects showed that at the "individual" frequency, strange things were felt. Asked to describe the experience, all subjects agreed there was a definite "pulsing" in the brain, ringing in the ears and a desire to put their teeth into the nearest experimenter.
>The oscillator in this case was putting out only milliwatts of power, and was placed several feet from the subject.

So in 1960 you can make zombies with EM!

I wonder how far they took this experiment unofficially. The temptation to put a bunch of subject into a room and see what happens must have been great.

You'd think it would be pretty easy to find some science experiments that have EM fields make a person hallucinate. Persinger seems to be the only person doing this, and he died last year.

Unfortunately:

>Since neuronal ensembles associated with the "sense of self" are also recruited, TLT [halllucinations]s have great personal significance whose privacy is protected.
-- RELIGIOUS AND MYSTICAL EXPERIENCES AS ARTIFACTS OF TEMPORAL LOBE FUNCTION: A GENERAL HYPOTHESIS by MICHAEL A. PERSINGER (1983)

The only first hand report I can find of EM fields and hallucinations from Persinger's work is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo-achedLMs

How much worse would things get when the field is made by a random act of nature? And can this bio-hack be used to make specific visions?? >>89785 >>89786

The quest to understand human hallucinations and EM fields continues. In this episode, how fucking stupid is the design of our brain!. To wit:

>There are, however, other effects of continuous exposure of the nervous system to electromagnetic fields, first detected by psychophysiological methods. These include studies of the latency of some simple human motor responses to different stimuli (light, sound, etc.), While many of these studies have shown marked interindividual variation in responses, as well as a dependence of the effect on the basis of exposure parameters, it has also been demonstrated that electromagnetic field exposure increases the latency of the responses. Preferential delaying or inhibitory effects of nonionizing radiation of motor responses has been reported for hypotonic hallucinations, response to light flashes, and some cognitive processes (Danilevski, 1900; Dubrov, 1974; Presman, 1968; Raevskaya, 1988; Savin and Rubtzova, 1978; Sidiakin, 1986; Sudakov and Antimoni, 1973; Kholodov, 1966, 1975, 1982; Kholodov and Shishlo, 1979).
[I have no idea what he just said either, but he has references & said hallucination! Yay references!]
...
>It is appropriate to note that the lowest threshold values for biologic effects of electromagnetic fields were found when studying behavioral responses. In the case of magnetic fields, these threshold values were in the nanotesla range. However, most physiological, electrographic, morphological, and biochemical reporting effects have utilized more intense fields.
[Everywhere emphasizes that it isn't the strength of the field that matters]
-- Biological Effects of Electric & Magnetic Fields Sources and Mechanisms Edited by David O. Carpenter & Sinerik Ayrapetyan (1994)

Following a lead!

>Psychic Disorders. The effect of the GMF [Geomagnetic Field] on the central and vegetative nervous systems indicates that there is a relation between geomagnetic activity and several psychic diseases (112, 203-206, 219) and neurotic reactions. The cyclicity in this group of diseases has been known for a long time and hypotheses on their possible cause, implicating environmental factors, have been put forward. Some features of the clinical signs of psychic diseases indicate that solar activity and geomagnetic disturbances, i.e., increases or reductions of the GMF intensity, are direct causes of this kind of disturbance of human psychic activity. The number of Schizophrenic patients shows cyclic fluctuations with a period of about 10 years, and there is a significant high correlation between incidence of the disease and solar indices (r = +0.7-0.9). The sunspot numbers in the prenatal period of the patients were significantly higher (203-206). The most sensitive months of the prenatal period, making the greatest contribution to the possible subsequent disease, are the first three months after conception (203-206, 724).
[People can be so sensitive to solar geomagnetic activity that it makes them hallucinate. We then call them mad and lock them up.]

>A comparison of geomagnetic activity in different years and clinical manifestations of epilepsy showed a definite correlation between the indices investigated (219). For instance, in years of high geomagnetic activity (1960, 1961) there was a large number of twilight days [a dreamy state lacking touch with present reality, occurring in epilepsy, hysteria, & schizophrenia] in epileptic patients but, on the other hand, there was a reduction in the number of epileptic fits. The ratio of the number of fits to twilight days was 2.13 and 1.82 in years of high geomagnetic activity (1960, 1961), and 10.58 and 11.07 in years with minimum geomagnetic activity ( 1964, 1965). Other indices also revealed differences in the nature of manifestations of epilepsy in years of maximum and minimum geomagnetic activity. For instance, in 1960 the mean period spent by an epileptic patient in the hospital was 56.4 bed days, and 1965 it was 45.3 with similar treatment. Calculations showed that in 1960 there was one epileptic fit every 11. 16 days, and one twilight day every 23.78 days, whereas in 1965 the ratios were 3.64 and 40.26 days, respectively. The authors of the cited study concluded that clinical manifestations of epilepsy are different in years of maximum and minimum geomagnetic activity: In a period of high geomagnetic activity there is an increase in the number of epileptic psychoses and their equivalents, and in a period of reduced geomagnetic activity the number of twilight states is smaller, but the number of epileptic fits is greater. This conclusion has been confirmed on independent material and in another investigation (112), where the number of fits of epileptic patients on quiet magnetic days was higher than on magnetically disturbed days (r = -0.670-0.750).
[Under permanent influence of a GMF a sensitive person can be perpetually disassociated from the real environment.]

>It has also been reported that an increase in geomagnetic activity Ieads to an increase in the number of neurotic difficulties, reactions, and complaints in neurotic patients even in cases where resort treatment is beneficial (865). What is very characteristic, however, is that the author, like the other investigators cited above, also noted a significant deterioration in the state of neurotic patients on days with minimum geomagnetic activity. Thus it is apparent that the views expressed in Chapter 2 are confirmed by medical data, viz., that the organism reacts distinctly to any change in the geomagnetic environment, whether it is a sharp reduction or increase, since the deep connecting mechanisms are based on the biomagnetic homeostasis of the living organism and involve current systems in the membranes, and modification of their quasi-crystalline structure (64) and their permeability (121-123, 809). This is particularly well exemplified by a serious eye disease such as glaucoma, where destruction of the visual functions of patients is related not only to ophthalmotonus, but also to the state of the vascular system of the eye (207, 208).

>7.4. Effect of EmFs on Electric Activity of Brain and on Sensitivity of Central Nervous System to Other Stimuli
...
>Injection of caffeine or adrenalin into animals enhances the main reaction and convulsive discharges of epileptoid type appear in the EEG. The effect of caffeine injection is even more pronounced when the EEG is recorded from the isolated brain.
[Caffeine and fear increase epileptic reactions, and so presumably, hallucinations. Pizzagate?]
...
>It is characteristic that such reactions to EmFs are produced by either high- or low-intensity fields and may even become slightly more pronounced when the EmF intensity is reduced.
...
>It is characteristic that these reactions to EmFs are produced not only by fields of fairly high intensity, but also of low intensity.
[again low intensity fields are effective or even more effective.]
...
>13.1 Sensations and Unconditioned Reflexes Due to EmFs
...
>As long ago as the end of last century D'Arsonval (1893) discovered the phenomenon of phosphene (sensation of light flashes in the eye) due to the action of an EmF. Further investigations (Danilewski,1905; Thomson,1910; Barlow et al., 1947; Mogendovich and Skachedub, 1957; Valentinuzzi,1962; Solov'ev 1963; and others) showed that this effect could be produced by a constant magnetic field or by the magnetic component of an EmF and it was called "magnetophosphene." It has recently been reported (Jaski,1960) that people exposed to an EmF in the frequency range 380-500 MHz are subject to visual hallucinations: The subjects invariably associated these sensations (in 14 out of 15 tests) with the same point in space.
[This doesn't seem to match the actual article here >>90082 ]
>Sound sensations due to the action of an EmF were first observed in 1956 and were subsequently investigated thoroughly by Frey (1961, 1962, 1963a), who managed to establish the following features:
>1. People exposed to a pulse-modulated EmF hear various sounds (buzzing, knocking, or whistling), depending on the modulation. The sound source seems to be somewhere in the region of the occiput. Experiments involving screening of the head showed that "radiosound" could only be perceived in the temporal region.
[Hello paranormal rapping?]
>2. "Radiosounds" are very similar to the sounds produced by amplified random oscillations (noise) of the envelopes of the modulation pulses with frequencies below 5 kHz cut off and maximum extension of the band towards higher frequencies.
>3. Surrounding noise of up to 90 db does not dispel the "radiosound," although it reduces sensitivity to it. The use of ear plugs enhances the "radiosound" effect.
>4. There are certain threshold intensities below which there is no effect. Their values depend on the EmF parameters, the main ones in this respect being the strengths of the electric and magnetic components in the pulse, and not the power flux density.
>Frey suggests that the EmF is preceived directly in the auditory nerves and in the cells of the auditory zone of the cerebral cortex by various "detectors" and that other sensations, in addition to "radiosound", can be produced by EmFs, depending on the irradiation conditions.
>Wieske (1963) later observed similar effects due to the action of low-frequency EmFs - from 60 Hz to 15 kHz (with maxmum sensitivity at 3 kHz) - and also in response to the application and removal of an electrostatic field. Wieske suggests that the
EmF induces weak currents in the inner ear and these excite the auditory cells or auditory nerves.
>A tactile sensation in man due to a pulsed electric field has been reported (Noval, 1963). The subject, situated inside a solenoid, experienced jolts - on both sides of the spine in the femoral region when lying on his back, in the epigastric region when lying on his side and, in the stomach region when lying on his stomach. Frey (1963b) also described tactile sensations - itchiness or soreness on the skin of the face or forearm - in people situated close to the antenna of an ultralong-wave (14.7 kHz) radio station.
>Lastly, we mention Turlygin's experiments (1937), in which exposure to centimeter waves of very low intensity caused a sensation of drowiness and weakness in human subjects.

>There have been no reports of the reproduction of Cazzamali's experiments on electromagnetic emission of the brain. His other experiments (1941), however, the production of hallucinations in subjects due to EmFs of the investigated range, were recently suc-
cessfully reproduced (Jaski, 1960).

[Again with this Cazzamalli made people hallucinate due to EMFs, despite the 1966 USAF translations not mentioning it >>90081 Did the USAF cover up this aspect? Any Italian's want to locate/read the original articles and see if it is there???? ]

>Thus, a considerable amount of experimental material on telepathy has been gathered and there is a basis for discussing the physical nature of telepathic communication. But are the results of telepathic investigations sufficiently reliable? Let us see what researchers on telepathy say on this subject themselves.
>At a special symposium of parapsychologists held in 1956 (Ciba Foundation Symposium on Extrasensory Perception) the following doubts were expressed.
>1. The results of experiments with Zener cards might be attributed to the inadequate nature of the employed methods of statistical analysis of the data.
>2. There have been several cases of "false telepathy," involving coded transmission of information to the subject from his assistant or detection by the subject of involuntary external signs in those taking part in the experiment.
>3. A fact which should engender precaution is that the results of experiments on telepathy cannot usually be reproduced.
>Such doubts led the American research worker Hansel (1966) to analyze thoroughly the methods and results of practically all the known experiments on telepathy carried out in the last 80 years (up to 1966). Having discovered various methodological errors in early telepathic experiments he repeated these experiments and carefully explained where and in what conditions the error occurred.
>In several cases Hansel repeated recent experiments (together with their authors) in an attempt to reproduce the experimental conditions as accurately as possible. This work led Hansel to the categorical conclusion that absolutely all the results of telepathic investigations are unreliable and could be attributed to faulty experimental procedures or incorrect statistical treatment of the data and that in most cases there was conscious or unconscious deception. Hansel was highly critical of some "sensational" results and accused the authors, Rhine and Soal, for instance, of deliberate distortion of the experimental data. Despite such categorical conclusions, Hansel did not reject the possibility of telepathic phenomena and pointed out that it was essential to obtain convincing evidence from correctly designed and reproducible experiments.

ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS AND LIFE by A. S. PRESMAN (Department of Biophysics, Moscow University, Moscow, USSR) (1970)

It seems to me that ESP is extremely fragile, and those best suited to it would be also much closer to being insane as well because they are overwhelmed with EM sensitivity. Further more the signal itself can be overwhelmed by natural broadcasts such as solar activity. And in our increasingly EM polluted environment, we can probably expect less ESP ability to emerge and more insanity instead.

...
>The theory of ion-molecular interference makes it possible to explain these general features of magnetobiologicalreception. The explanation proceeds from the observation that MBE involves angular quantum states of atom-ions and rotational states of molecules exposed to MF. Such states are de Broglie waves in thea ngular coordinate space at microscopic scales that interfere with each other giving rise to slowly rotating nodes and clusters of density probability. The refractoriness of the interference fringe pattern to thermal fluctuations of the medium can be accounted for by peculiarities of their interaction with angular and rotational states. The theory of ion-molecular interference provides a few general formulas of the `field effect' type and the possibility of their experimental verification. Magnetic conditions calculated by these formulas for a number of known experiments turned out to be in excellent agreement with the observed values. It is more or less clear why relatively strong MF, unlike weak ones, rarely produce manifest biological effects. The fact is MF have practically no effect on particles. Large amplitudes of MF are responsible for high phaseshift frequencies that maybe orders of magnitude different from natural frequencies of ions and molecules in the geomagnetic field. Hence, they fail to impart a new quality to biological systems.

-- Effects of weak magnetic fields on biological systems: physical aspects http://biomag.narod.ru/pdf/2003.Binhi.ea.PUsp.pdf

And now we know one of the mechanism that data or impairment (hallucination) is transmitted by small EM fields. And strong EM fields can simply knock you out. See >>89747 and:

>In the spring of 1978, six months before the Inquiry, at least four people in Fishpond had experienced strange and distressing blackouts within the space of one week — one of these people was a visitor who blacked out while riding his bike under the lines, fell off and broke his ribs. Another was my fourteen-year-old son, who had never experienced anything like it before, and indeed did not tell me until we discovered that we had all suffered in the same way but without telling each other at first because it seemed so weird. For another villager it was a series of spells of dizziness. For myself, it was an almost indescribable episode in which the light seemed to go black (although I could still see) and I was completely disoriented; even though I was in my own garden, I could not tell which way the house was, nor even which way was up or down. This, of course, occasioned much jocularity amongst the opposition when I described it at Innsworth but later in the Inquiry we learned, from an engineer, who had not been present on the day in similar situations; and obviously had not read my statement, that it was at that time that the lower 275 kV circuit at Fishpond had been up-rated to 345 kV without anyone being told (Best, 1981).

-- ELECTROMAGNETIC MAN by Cyril W. Smith and Simon Best (1989)

I think it's fair to say that being in the presence of a plasma object can cause you to hallucinate/dream "extraterrestrials". Also we seem to be extremely vulnerable to EM effects generally. Obviously this can be weaponized. It's unclear if specific visions could be sent to victims (or recalled from the subconscious) of victims, but since it is sufficient to have any hallucination interfere with the perception that ordinary humans have abducted you, there is no need to have a specific hallucination. Overtime cultural influences would probably dictate the interpretation and then subsequent dream/hallucination. And so emerges "greys from Zeta Reticuli" or "Space Brothers from Venus", add in some costumes and watch the population make up the rest of the myth for you, free of charge.

A side story: In my researching I came across 2 stories of ESP reception from within a Faraday cage of data outside a Faraday cage. The only physical method that could lead to this is if it is gravity waves. In >>89735 I have suggested that the atomic nucleus is an object that we can use to convert between gravity effects and EM fields. The brain could monitor fluctuations caused by gravity wave broadcasts which in turn perturb electrons, ions or molecules. It is very fascinating that Nature gave us both a very dense nucleus and a very light electron with the same charge, which allows the ability to broadcast over great distance through space. This is outside the 1947 molten blob research so I won't pursue it further.

>Case 685 -- July 7, [1947] Omaha, Nebraska: Fred R. Reibold, of 2315 Himebaugh Avenue, and his motherin-law, Mrs. Gertrude Sniffen, reported that at 10:30 p.m. CST they had seen "a flaming object" drop into the street in front of their home. The object was round, disc-shaped, and about the size of a silver dollar, and it lay in the street "burning with extreme heat." Newspapers were called and newsmen sent out to investigate. Before they arrived, however, an intrepid neighborhood boy kicked at the fragment, after the fire had subsided, and it "fell to pieces." When the reporters arrived, they scooped up the remaining ashes and took them away for analysis. The pavement was scorched where the object had lain. The Omaha World-Herald reported the next day that chemical analysis, under Dr. C. L. Kenny, head of the Chemistry Department of the College of Dentistry, Creighton University, and carried out by two unidentified students, revealed traces of sodium, potassium, iron, aluminum, carbonate, sulphate, and unburnt carbon. According to Dr. Kenny, it was nothing more than "ordinary pipe tobacco." The report is included among those in the Air Force files. Interestingly, it is probably the only UFO on record that has been explained as "tobacco ashes."

>Case 768 -- July 8 [1947], Boise, Idaho: Oliver Gregorson, Box 212, Boise, and Vesta Mitchell, of Route 5, Boise, reported to the Idaho Daily Statesman that they were about a mile and a half out of the city, on Route 20, at about sunset when they saw a number of silvery discs "twirling in the sky, large and very high." (The sun set at 8:28 p.m. MST on July 8.) They said that two of the objects appeared much larger than the others. They were shiny and reflected the rays of the setting sun, and as the two witnesses watched them, the two larger objects appeared to descend closer to the earth. Then, they said, the objects "turned red and vanished."A moment or so following the disappearance of the objects, Gregorson and Miss Mitchell both saw "fragments of ash" floating toward the ground from the direction in which they had last seen the objects. They caught several samples of the ash as it came down, before it touched the ground. It was pearl-grey in color, and one fragment was of "a shell-like material with bits of ash plastered all over it." One of the fragments was about the size of "a rose leaf." According to the news account, the witnesses gave the ashes to the paper, which in turn gave them to "the state chemist" for analysis. On the following day, the Statesman reported that results of the analysis indicated the fragments were nothing but ashes, probably from paper. Chemists said definitely that they were "not of a metallic residue."

What sort of analysis is that? The witness report was of higher quality!

>Case 802 -- July 9, Midland, Michigan: Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Edward Lane were picking berries shortly after 5:00 p.m. EST when they heard a kind of "puff" noise nearby. Looking up, they saw a ball of white, sparkling fire, like a Fourth of July sparkler, about the size of a bushel basket, no more than a hundred feet away. It was hovering several feet above a stretch of sand. After about ten or fifteen seconds, the fiery object "went out," and the object vanished. The only thing remaining was a peculiar dark substance on the sand, and some metallic fragments. The report, from the Air Force files, is explained as a "Possible hoax." The results of the analysis of the fragments and sand samples were provided by the Air Force. Analysis does not, as such, constitute any proof of a hoax. On the contrary, it seems to confirm that something of an unusual nature did occur, although it does not seem on the face of it to be necessarily connected with UFOs. The analysts apparently were given one sample of the metal -- an "irregular somewhat rounded pellet" which they state is principally silver. Impurities of one-tenth percent silicon are believed to be from sand picked up from the ground "before the metal solidified." The presence of molten silver in a berry patch is certainly odd, and rules out any simple "hoax." A sample of the dark residue in the sand was also analyzed and its chief constituents were iron, aluminum and titanium in amounts of one-tenth percent each. Some of the fine powder in the sand at the site proved to be chiefly thorite, a rare mineral. According to a letter from Lt. Colonel Barnett B. Young, dated August 18, 1967, the incident, while classified as a hoax, "was not initiated by the observer."

Thorite, (Th,U)SiO4, is a rare nesosilicate of thorium that crystallizes in the tetragonal system

>The Caloris basin, the youngest known large impact basin on Mercury, is revealed in MESSENGER images to be modified by volcanism and deformation in a manner distinct from that of lunar impact basins. The morphology and spatial distribution of basin materials themselves closely match lunar counterparts. Evidence for a volcanic origin of the basin's interior plains includes embayed craters on the basin floor and diffuse deposits surrounding rimless depressions interpreted to be of [u]pyroclastic origin.[u]

Kenneth Arnold's other UFO sighting in 1947:

>Case 850 -- July 29, Union, Oregon: While flying en route to Tacoma to investigate the Maury Island "mystery" (see I-15), Kenneth Arnold was approaching the airport
at La Grande, Oregon, for a refueling stopover. He began his let-down over North Powder, about 20 miles southeast of La Grande. He was directly over Union, at an
altitude of 5,000 feet, when he looked dow n at the clock on his instrument panel. It was 6:55 a.m. MST.
>"As I looked up from my instrument panel and straight ahead over the La Grande Valley, I saw a cluster of about twenty-five brass-colored objects that looked like ducks. They were coming at me head on and at what seemed a terrific rate o f speed. I grabbed my camera and started rolling out film. Even though I thought t hey
were ducks when I first saw them, I wasn't taking any chances.
>"The sun was at my back and to my right. These objects were coming into the sun. I wasn't sighting through the viewfinder on my camera, but was sighting along
the side of it. "As this group of objects came within 400 yards of me they veered sharply away from me and to their right, gaining altitude as they did so and fluttering and flashing a dull amber color. I was a little bit shocked and excited when I realized they had the same flight characteristics of the large objects I had observed on June 24. "These appeared to be round, rather rough on top, and to have a dark or a light spot on the top of each one. I couldn't be absolutely positive of this because it all happened so suddenly. I attempted to make a turn and follow them but they disappeared to the east at a speed far in excess of my airplane. I know they were not ducks because ducks don't fly that fast."
>Arnold described the formation as a "cluster more like blackbirds than ducks," but each object was larger than a duck, about 24 to 30 inches in diameter. He said "they rather wheeled on edge, flipping as they went as efficiently as when they were flat in reference to the surface of the ground." He made a few inquiries around the field while his plane was being refueled at La Grande, but no one there had seen the objects.
>He learned later, however, that "several farmers in the vicinity of Union had observed what they thought was a peculiar cluster of birds that morning." Understandably, Arnold did not report this sighting to the newspapers, nor to the Air Force. He told Dave Johnson about it, but the first published account appeared in The Coming of the Saucers.

Vallee classification for 1947-07-07.png
Finished categorizing the 853 sightings into "Current Vallee Classification System" ( http://www.cufos.org/pdfs/Vallee_UFO_Classification_Systems.pdf ):

A preliminary look shows an interesting and supporting piece of evidence. The 1947-07-04 spike has a different character than the others. The wider event has about 50% ordinary boring fly-bys (sky blue in pie chart). But July 4th has 64% ordinary boring fly-bys. Suggesting something changed on July 4th. July 4th is when we cross 2004 TG10's orbital path ( >>78826 ), and since it has not hit Mercury it's meteors would do nothing interesting (unlike 2002 XM35 and it's children). This adds addition weight to my hypothesis.

>>90392
The character of the sightings for all the days of the 1947 wave. Pic#1 This shows that fly-bys generally fell whilst stationary and wobbling/maneuvering increased. What would cause this?

The 1947 wave occurred between 2 "moon bumps" ( >>89607 ) and so we can reasonably suspect the moon's position could be a player. The "moon bumps" probably exist because the moon is in the correct position to optimally slingshot meteors -that would have otherwise missed the Earth- onto the Earth.

This has another consequence, because the Earth rotates, when the moon is on one side or the other it will sling-shot meteors with or against the surface rotational speed of the Earth.

The southern portion of the US is at about 25deg Latitude and its rotational speed is 943 MPH or 1517 km/h.
The northern portion of the US is at about 50deg Latitude and its rotational speed is 669 MPH or 1076 km/h.
https://www.vcalc.com/wiki/MichaelBartmess/Rotational+Speed+at+Latitude

So when the moon throws a meteor to the Earth against it's rotation the minimum speed will be 669 MPH or 1076 km/h to the perception of the ground observer. This is faster than aircraft were capable of and if they are shiny molten blobs they will attract attention.

Pic#2 shows the position of the moon and the rotation of the Earth. It also shows when we should expect 1000 km/h+ sightings and slow sightings. The decrease in daytime pure fly-by sightings is because the moon overtime left the optimal position, ultimately it was positioned to make more daytime stationary, hovering and slow maneuvering sightings. pic#2

It is also interesting to note that the peak of the reports were when the moon was opposite the 2002 XM35/Mercury "collision" radiant in our sky. I am not sure why, was it simply out of the way? Or adding gravity assist?

Pics 3 and 4 show moon bump positions. Pic #5 shows opposition on sightings peak date.

1886 elliptical iron-magnesium silicate meteor-2.jpg
From 1886:
Parent body was elliptical like some of the 1947 sightings
Iron has sedimented out in small amounts, needs 1200C
The silicate is green because the Magnesium has not detached from the silicate which happens at 1900C. So whilst it did achieve flying disc roundness it never achieved magnesium plasma gas floating.

XM35 is one of over 2,500 "circular" impacts detected on oslar system planets. 1947 became disinfo year: tell no truths, only lies. Why? Electromagnetic field strengthens during severe lunar tidal shifts. Short time frame, large consequences; ie: "never let a good catastrophe go to waste".

>>89735
Potentially worse. Crash occurred in 1956, few pieces recovered. Date occurs before Project Blue Book was founded & 5 years before "Center for Extraterrestrial Contact" was groupthink entrusted under shared FBI/Jew.S. Chair Force jurisdiction, led by (((Oppenheimer))) fellows. Knowledge stolen from German V3 project, not disclosed, became sourcebook material for later "manned flights" a la Aurora 1 & Desert Prowler projects. In 1981 NASA refuted claims by own scientists that silver-lithium-ion battery technology used during "space missions" was destroyed. In 1996, NASA stated all records of moon landing technologies lost. Data inconclusive? No. Only shows treachery.

Found source, unfortunately 'deceased' from "mysterious car crash" in 2015. Brake line failure. Cut with lineman pliers. Texas 1977. Fed DIRTY info. Working on workaround. Worker was former skunk employee: "semi-synthetic resins" were codename for human manufactured carbon alloys, used in Black Bird, Aurora, Desert Prowler, EMG3 projects, many others. Date of first deployment: September 14th 1972. You have already shown why that year is "special". Potential: allotropic steel crosswoven into carbon fiber increases heat threshhold. Who'd have fucking thunk besides the fucking skunks.

Today is a good day! Welcome back, AfterNon!! Did you see all of my research on EM fields, electrical stimulation of the brain and putting visions in peoples heads? The way it seems to work is we have iron in our body, if you can fluctuate that with a complex EM signal you can cause people to recall imagery from the subconscious (see Michael Persinger for the modern version). Therefore if you flood media with "grey aliens" you can recall it from people later, remotely. People will EM sensitivity may be very susceptible, these people, it seems, have grown up in a strong EM environment which has aligned the iron in their body, therefore you can get a good whole body iron oscillation going in those people.

>XM35 is one of over 2,500 "circular" impacts detected on [so]lar system planets.

The 1947 UFO wave was the largest wave and so it requires, if it comes from natural space events, a large space event. We can't diminish it to be like the other 2,500 circular impacts, it must be exceptional.

I believe I have located the exceptional impact site and a secondary site. However I just discovered a slight error in my mapping which I still need to remedy. So here is a tentative map of the situation (pic1). Which might be altered in a few days after double checking it.

This is the High Magnesium Region on Mercury https://www.hou.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2016/pdf/1270.pdf I propose it is the splash from a magnesium rich asteroid or comet impact. Notice it has 2 lobes, similar to many asteroids and comets, and if you look closer you can see a 2 lobed crater. Notice also that the northern lobe splatter goes over the Mercury north pole and heads into the Sun. Did the Sun show an extraordinary event happening?

Yes. (pic2) This is the very first Great Sun Spot http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1946PASP...58...86N (click Send PDF) and was unprecedented going back as far as the 1870s. You can watch it roll around the sun here http://fenyi.solarobs.csfk.mta.hu/GPR/1946/19460129/index.html it is number 14417 on the left and 7943 on the right. (The right hand image is reversed because the drawer drew it from the telescope perspective which mirrors the sun image.) The PDF above also notes a "metallic" prominence over the great sunspot, which is too coincidental for words? Why would astronomers call it "metallic"??

Having found good evidence on the Sun and Mercury I looked deeper into the prospect that this might be a more regular occurrence for other UFO waves. The Taurid Complex (a name given to comets, asteroids and meteroids that are linked to the Taurid meteors) has an orbit period of about 3-4 years. Mercury has an orbit a bit less than 90 days. For simplicity's sake lets restate this in months, and focus on 2 Mercury-Taurid orbital harmonics.

3 month Mercury Orbit : 40 month Taurid orbit = 120 months harmonic = 10 years
3 month Mercury Orbit : 44 month Taurid orbit = 132 months harmonic = 11 years

Because this particular selection produces whole years, the Earth is also now included in the 3-way orbital harmonic. Because we have proposed that the Great Sunspot of February 1946 is caused by meteroid splatter, could the normal sunspot cycle also be caused by meteroid splatter from this harmonic? The Sun spot cycle is 11 years. Can a correlation be found between UFO wave cycles, AND sunspot cycles, both originating from a Mercury/Taurid flyby/collision harmonic?
(pic3}

The answer is yes, but it is complicated by an additional sub-harmonic. The 40 month Taurid orbit cycle is 3 and one-third years, double this and you get 6 and two-third years, similarly the 44 month Taurid orbit cycle is 3 and two-third years, double that and you get 7 and one-third years. The average of both of these is 7 years for this offset sub-harmonic. This is the cause of the 7 year offset from the 10 year primary UFO Wave cycle. So there are 10-year separated UFO waves and ~7-year offset UFO waves. (>>27411 pic1 is an example)

This research has expanded to explaining all the UFO waves. Note I am not saying all UFOs, I am specifically saying waves. What happens is a mixture of human activity on a smaller scale which is punctuated every 10+7 years by natural, space originating, metal and glass UFO waves. The 1946 January collision of the parent of 2002 XM35 and Mercury was a major space event which splattered Mercury, the Sun, and the Earth with molten metal and glass.

>>79260 pic and pic5 here - is perhaps astronomers seeing molten meteors in the atmosphere but going into denial about it.

1944 "Foo fighters" are probably a +7year sub-harmonic from a 1936 "wave", unfortunately there are no prominent UFO or Fortean researchers active in 1936. However the astronomy journals do have some interesting "fireball" reports which fit quite well. I am still looking into if this was an unrecognised "wave". (pic4 and 5) The red-orange is the burning Fe shell, the blue-white is the Mg (perhaps also Si) burning core. This is the Maury Island incident but at great height. http://www.beamsinvestigations.org/The%20Coming%20of%20the%20Saucers%20%281952%29%20PDF%20Digital%20Edition%20%28July%202011%29.pdf Search for: As I looked up from the wheel on my boat

I have a suspicion that the U5/\\F became aware of all of this in the 1970s because they initiated a infrared sky survey in 1970s [AFCRL-71-0081–A GROUNDBASED INFRARED SKY SURVEY-Frank J. Low, AFCRL-71-0387–PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF AN INFRARED SKY SURVEY by Frank J. Low, The AFCRL Infrared Sky Survey, Walker & Price 1975, etc] (or were they looking for red satellites?). And the UFO wave was due in 1974. Also doing fake "alien" events along side the natural UFO wave would make perfect cover because the public has already accepted that both the fake aliens -and- the natural UFOs are from the same ETs. This confounds the public's ability to separate the 2 sets of events. Erroneously attempting to unite these separate causes can only lead to assuming ETI by the unaware.

>Potentially worse. Crash occurred in 1956,

This makes it a potential precurser of the 1957 UFO Wave (>>101892 pic3, pics here). Pic1 is a graph of UFO reports in the UFOCAT database by day of year for every year until 1984. This was used to get a feel for whether UFO volume on a day matches up with Taurid Complex objects. A side use is to show you that a Wave occurred in 1957, this implies a Taurid Complex/Mercury flyby/collision occurred around December 1955. It takes about 0-3 years for the splatter to get to Earth. Pic2 uses 2002 XM35 orbit as a proxy for the Taurid Complex Orbit and shows where Mercury was when this hypothesis could have occurred.

Sonic shields. I suppose you could set up distant harmonics which shatter incoming objects. However I have a project already that needs final completion, natural UFOs and my real world responsibilities. I'll keep it in mind. Also super-soldiers; Nazi's drugged so they can Blitzkrieg for days non-stop? MK-Ultra mind controlled programmed soldiers. Reminds me of music performers taking "anti-stage fright" drugs.

I think it bears saying that you have the human-caused UFO side of the equation, I am bringing the natural non-terrestrial component. This solves your, no budget moneys could account for the 1947 Flying Disc Wave, problem. Both of our sides are criticial to the complete picture.

This I believe is what makes a Wave:

1. New human tech is in the air. (1896 airships, 1931 planes, 1946 rockets, 1947 discs)
2. Nature adds space metal/glass.
3. Humans confound both together and get confused, so it must be ETI.

Bonus image (pic3) [2006CoSka..36..103P Contrib. Astron. Obs. Skalnaté Pleso 36, 103—117, 12006] because I like you. This image shows that if you take all of the Taurid Complex meteoroids, asteroids, comets (Encke) and view the flight paths from a certain vantage point they clump through 2 positions in space. I then drew the plane of Mercury orbit, it goes between both clumps. One clump is old and goes back to the 1800s. The other clump has varied considerably in location, so much so that I am doubtful it is the same clump/cause over the decades. This later clump is my prime suspect for the periodic splatter of metal and glass. However the splatter can only do its 10 years cycle if material remains for use. This material is lost on each pass of Mercury (some sent to the sun for sunspots), perhaps Venus, perhaps Earth, perhaps Mars, until it disappears back into noise levels. It seems we ran out of material in the 1970s >>70176 .... hmmm that infrared survey...

>1944 "Foo fighters" are probably a +7year sub-harmonic from a 1936 "wave", unfortunately there are no prominent UFO or Fortean researchers active in 1936.

Turns out some in UFOlogy were paying attention to 1936/7 events:

>Between 1933 and 1937, as war clouds gathered over Europe, sightings were made of ”ghost airplanes” and “ghost fliers” over northern Scandinavia. These were, as the name suggested, airplane like objects.
-- Watch the Skies! by Curtls Pueblos (1994) ← Anders liljegren, Project 1946: The 'ghost rocket' documents released by the Swedish Defence staff” Flying Saucer Review 32, no. 1 (1986): 23.

>Previously UFOs became widely certain, here had been other sightings of peculiar flying objects. In addition to the high-class baffling had been the so-called "company fliers" of 1930s Scandinavia. These odd aircraft were seen hundreds of era over Finland, Sweden and Norway concerning 1932 and 1937. In the same way as seen in undemanding the company fliers took the form of perfectly utter aircraft, higher than whatever then flying, coloured grey and without markings of any character. At night the aircraft steadily shone formidably transparent searchlights down to the ground. The company fliers habitually came feeling lonely, but sometimes appeared in groups of two or three.

>At first the compound Scandinavian governments thought that they were being overflown by top secret explore aircraft from Russia, Germany or Britain. It precisely became clear, silent, that the company fliers were performing aerobatics and achieving speeds suitably out of control to any certain aircraft - and plus hindsight out of control soft today.

>Having tried to shoot down the abnormal intruders and dragging wasted generation penetrating for their embedded bases, the Scandinavian launch lost occupation. The sightings stained in 1937 and ceased copious in 1939 - by which time a person had high-class momentous substance on their minds.

>"This is an attraction from Peculiar Encounters by Rupert Matthews"

-- https://paranormal-factor.blogspot.com/2013/01/ghost-flyers-in-1930s-or-were-they-ufos.html (I assume this is google translated.)

>Going backwards in time, to the early 1930s, so-called 'ghost flyers' were seen, often in snowstorms, in the northern parts of Sweden, Norway and Finland. These aircraft were seen (and heard) mainly at night, sometimes flying at low-level. But they carried no markings, and military searches found neither the ghost fliers nor the aerodrome they presumably operated from. Explanations at the time included Soviet or Japanese (!) spies, alcohol smugglers or misperception and mass delusion. Soviet or even combined Soviet-German exercises are perhaps the most likely explanation, though no archival smoking gun has been found.

Makes you wonder how many times we can make the same erroneous conclusions despite the fact that it is technically/practically impossible... Humans doing stupid war shit, nature sends metal/glass splatter, "Damn those humans! /shakes fist!" I need better sources, they seem to be scarce for this.

1930s ghost fliers -- Anders Liljegren.png.jpg
>>101941
So the hypothesis is there should be 1936/7 "wave" and a 1934 "mini-wave":

1932: Beginning in 1932, large, unidentified aeroplanes started appearing over Sweden, Norway and Finland. They were always described as very large, grey in colour, were inevitably unmarked and performed strange and (quite often) seemingly dangerous manoeuvres, for example, flying in raging blizzards and equally inclement weather. They would circle over towns and forts, sometimes flying in groups and often cutting their engines whilst they circled. They were large craft; one at least was declared, by a group of five witnesses, to have eight propellers!★

1933: Between 1933 and 1937, as war clouds gathered over Europe, sightings were made of “ghost airplanes” and “ghost fliers” over northern Scandinavia. These were, as the name suggested, airplanelike objects.[4] – Watch the Skies! by Curtis Peebles (1994) ← [4] Anders Liljegren (pic), Project 1946: The 'ghost rocket' documents released by the Swedish Defence Staff” - Flying Saucer Review 32, no. 1 (1986): 23.

1933-12-27: The USA too had its share of 'ghost flyers' during this time.“ One, for instance, was heard over New York on December 27, 1933, flying 'blind' at night and during a fierce snow storm. The mystery plane apparently circled the city for most of the night (consuming, one would imagine, a great amount of fuel), but it never crashed and always eluded identification - none of the nearby airfields had any planes aloft,in fact none of their planes could have remained aloft for so long in that kind of weather and it would have been foolhardy in the extreme for any pilot to have tried.★

1933-12-25: Come Christmas week 1933, in Scandinavia, the mystery fliers were there in force. Official investigations were ordered and initiated, but to no avail.★

1933 late: Another invasion of mystery aircraft occurred in the 1930s, with the most sustained activity in Sweden and Norway as large airplanes with one or more bright lights flew even through howling blizzards. These “ghost fliers” were thought to be smugglers or Soviet spies. The fliers appeared in late 1933 and the winter of 1934, then again in the fall, and thereafter visited for a month or two each year through 1937. – UFOs And Popular Culture by James Lewis (2000)

1934: …like the ghost fliers of 1934, they are a dull grey and violate all regulations by failing to show any licence numbers or insignia. – Our Haunted Planet by John A Keel (1971)

1934-01-10: Wednesday. January 10, 1934. Trondheim. Norway. Two landings were reported on this night. One landing involved a plane settling down on the water and was accompanied by a great-beam of light' according to witnesses. Such 'beams' were a fairly regular part of the 1897 airship and are still reported during today's UFO events.

1934-01-21: Sunday, January 21, 1934. At 6 pm a crowd of people at Bengtsforsen, Jamtland, saw a brilliant nocturnal light the size of the half-moon, accompanied by the sound of a heavy engine. The light and noise were experienced, also in Indal, west of Bengtsforsen, sometime after 6 pm. where it circled the area for ten minutes before vanishing westwards.★

1934-01-23: Tuesday, January 23, 1934. Outside Tromso, Norway, a mystery plane shone a brilliant light on to a ship's deck, illuminating it like the day. The ship's captain could observe the pilot in the mystery plane (the pilot's cabin was brilliantly illuminated, a curious state of affairs for such a nocturnal exercise, but one which accords quite readily with modern UFO reports). The description of the pilot was, apparently, that of a normal man wearing a large hood and goggles.

1934-02: In February 1934, a mystery aeroplane circled London. apparently (like its New York counterpart) in weather that left a lot to be desired from a flier's point of view.★

1937-02-11: On Thursday, February 11, 1937, the crew of a fishing boat, the Fram noted sometime after 9 pm a large aeroplane resting on the water just outside Kvalsvik. Thinking that the plane might be in need of help, the captain of the Fram turned the boat towards it, whereupon the red and green lights of the plane were extinguished and the plane reportedly became enveloped in a cloud and vanished!★

These are all of the reports I can find, no biased selecting. It seems to show a start 1933/4 and an end in 1937. Seems the pattern is holding. What happened in 1923/4 and 1926/7?? Anything?

I have been proposing that The Taurid Complex has 2 harmonics (3⅓ and 3⅔ year orbits) with Mercury (¼ year orbit) of 10 and/or 11 years. What happens if we separate these as 2 harmonies and assume they have independent existences?

Periodically both would meet Mercury at the same time resulting in a dual collision/splatter event. How often?

3⅓, 3⅔ -> 10, 11 -> 110 year meta-cycle.

Can we find evidence of a major event happening in the sky every ~110 years?

When looking at >>70176 heat matrix we can see 2 meta-cycles of UFO reports:

1946 to about 1980.
1988 to ?????

Can we massage and twist this into a 110 year cycle? What date do we work with? Lets pick 1947, if we add 110 years we get 2057, that isn't very useful. Lets go in reverse, 1947 - 110 = 1837. Anything big happening in the sky around then?

>It all began on the night of Nov. 12, 1833, when the Western Hemisphere unexpectedly came under attack by a firestorm of shooting stars that were reportedly silent, but overwhelming filled the sky.

>During this historic display, which was seen under clear skies across the eastern United States, an estimated 240,000 meteors were observed. So heavy was the concentration of meteors that to those gazing skyward it was visually obvious that they were fanning out from a spot within the star pattern known as the Sickle in the constellation of Leo, the Lion.

>Following this realization, the meteors were given the Latin family name for their apparent place of origin: the Leonid meteor shower.

>Leonid meteor shower is born.

>This spectacular 1833 Leonid meteor storm made a deep and terrifying impression on the American people.

>According to newspaper reports almost everyone saw it, awakened either by the commotion in the streets or by the moving glare of fireballs shining into bedroom windows.

>This point of emanation of the meteors (called the "radiant") was in the same place for all observers and remained so as the night wore on and the sky turned. Here was proof that the meteors were traveling parallel to each other from somewhere outside of our atmosphere.

>Up until only some years earlier, astronomers had refused to believe that meteors, those streaks of light so commonly seen in the upper atmosphere, could have any astronomical connection at all.

https://www.space.com/9517-leonid-meteor-shower-revealed-shooting-star-show-brilliant-history.html

We might have a hit Except it is 4 years early. But we have actually seen this before, when looking at the ghost fliers of 1930s the dates centered on 1934 and 1937, the bias though, seemed to be 1934 over 1937, whereas in the 40s the bias was 1947 over 1944 (foo fighters). Do they flip-flop in prominence?? Or is my maths too imprecise and I should move a day resolution. For example Mercury orbit is 87.9691 days (not 3 months, 90 days)
or 0.240846 years (not 0.25 years), would a more precise calculation lead to an explanation of this meteor storm? Or was the 1837 stream faded and the 1834 stream prominent as they flip-flop?

I keep finding reasons to be encouraged by this hypothesis... pic is another "coincidence", meteor events with a 10 year cycle reported by astronomers in 1935, also in 1925, expecting a return in 1945... make it stop!!

Selection bias or real????

The Minds of Men
- On April 13th 1953, newly appointed CIA director Allen Dulles signed off on MKUltra, the CIA's top secret mind control project. Three days before that Dulles gave a speech on the battle for mens minds to justify it. For Dulles it was a missive into a newly declared battle for the minds of men and would come just weeks after he became CIA director as a countermeasure to Soviet 'brainwashing'.
Dulles speech effectively launched MKUltra, he gave a plausible reason for the dark and disturbing research, he would later sign a memo that created the CIAs most notorious secret research project just three days later and ironically only a few weeks after the death of Stalin.
This film is a 3+ year investigation into the experimentation, art, and practice of social engineering and mind control during the Cold War, a mind-bending journey into the past that gives startling insight into the world we are living in today.

Ghost Rockets made of Slag.png
(pic)

Ghost Rockets are made of slag, slag is a waste product from smelting, smelting is heating to extract base metals. Ghost Rockets burn bright (blue-)white. The magnesium is probable doing a thermite reaction*, stealing oxygen from the silica. Everything points in the same direction. I declare victory.

* Thermites have diverse compositions. Fuels include aluminium, magnesium, titanium, zinc, silicon, and boron. Aluminium is common because of its high boiling point and low cost. Oxidizers include bismuth(III) oxide, boron(III) oxide, silicon(IV) oxide+, chromium(III) oxide, manganese(IV) oxide, iron(III) oxide, iron(II,III) oxide, copper(II) oxide, and lead(II,IV) oxide.[2]

+ Silicon(IV) oxide = Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is an oxide of silicon with the chemical formula SiO2

UFO sightings vs Sunspots.png
>>102249 Update

Black Triangles are the man made cause of the deviation of UFO sightings rise and sun spot fall.
There is also a natural component. The return of the Flying Discs of the 1950s after an orbit of the sun. The orbit was calculated by getting the ratio of travel time between Mercury and Earth for both 2002 XM35 vs the 1947 Flying Disc wave. I then used to ratio to calculate the expected return of the Flying Discs.

Black Triangles go back to 1977. And the Discs are expected:
1946(Ghost Rockets) + 52.8 = 1998.8
This matches up okay with the UFOCAT heat matrix ( >>70176 )

UFOCAT has the peak of the Flying Discs in the 1950s and so the return peak is in the 2000s.

1965-09-03b.jpg
I'm examining the 1965 Flying Disc wave as an assumed "echo" of the 1947 wave as a result of the 1946 Mercury collision. What is emerging is that these magnesium objects are thermite reactions waiting to happen. In space it seems they can be dormant, but when in the atmosphere the atomised magnesium in the core can violently react with oxygen or nitrogen. It can also react with the silica and silicon of the object. Temperatures can reach 3100C. There are thermal, magnetic, EM/light, erratic motion and buoyancy effects. These things are dangerous.

The Taurid Meteor showers as we known them today did not exist prior to 1946. There was a brief shower in 1937 (Ghost Fliers?) and an absence for decades before that. Meteors and these objects have the same source.

Mercury synodic period vs Earth orbital position offset with reference to both positions on 1946-01-12 plus UFOCAT all.png
happy-horse-noises.gif
AFTERNON!

I can explain the UFO waves 1947-1979. The debris launched by the Mercury collision has to obey the laws of orbital mechanics. It will return eventually to its place of origin after orbiting the sun. Mercury will also eventually return to that place at the same time. It's just a matter of clockwork mechanics and time. In addition Earth will also be placed as it was the first time at some point.

If I calculate the closeness of both Mercury and Earth to the original locations for each I can predict "echo" repeat collision probabilities. This assumes there is debris still available for colliding against Mercury again (each collision, planet pass, Earth strafe depletes the pool of debris).

Attached is a pic of the predictions (70%+) vs the UFO Waves in UFOCAT. All waves explained except the moderate 1950 and 1957 waves.

No need for human/ET explanations between 1958-1980s for waves of UFOs.

Given that the Ghost Fliers occurred in 1934/7 there may have been a precursor event (close flyby, no impact) which echoes into 1950/7?

Happy, happy, joy, joy!

B&W is https://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/map/Mercury/Topography/MESSENGER/Mercury_Messenger_USGS_DEM_Global_665m_v2 showing Mercury topology. Bright means high ground, black is deep depression. Red is high magnesium.

The depression matches the magnesium area quite well. I suggest this is where magnesium rich asteroid(s) smash into Mercury.

Somewhat proves piezoelectric materials were in use decades before either you or I figured. Want incendiary ammunition? Carnegie Steel Company. Mass backdoor funding from Jew-S government for military projects. Had over 30 secret divisions within company. Later results: three in particular. Codenames: Project HARDCOUNT, Project SPACE RACE, Project THUNDER ENGINE. Will explain first two soon, last one related to you-know-who.

23-24? Hm. Notable ones:
1920: radio transmission, supposedly by Ernst Alexanderson, another Jew-S Patent Office muppet. In 1923 "he" supposedly created high frequency neon lamps then in 1924 the scanning disc.
1921: lie detector, John Larson.
1922: audiometer, Harvey Fletcher.
1922: the Neutrodyne,
1923: instant film camera, Samuel Shlafrock.
1924: earth inductor compass, Morris Titterington.
1924: the Moviola, Iwan Serrurier.
1924: radio-based altimeter, Lloyd Espenschied.

A short list of certain prior/later inventions that will interest you:
1891: Dow process for mass production of bromines.
1893: Spectroheliograph, either George Ellery Hale or Henri Alexandre Deslandres in 1894.
1894: Stadimeter, Bradley Allen Fiske.
1895: Cyclocomputer, Curtis Hussey Vedeer.
1897: the muffler, Milton Reeves.
1898: wireless remote controller, Tesla.
1899: wing warping, Henry Farman, French.
1900: stolen blueprints for nickel-zinc battery, that coattail riding kikelet.
1901: radio-direction finder, John Stone Stone. Much more important than those frauds Edison or Einstein, he inspired Tesla's own inventions.
1902: the electric hearing aid.
1902: mercury arc valve, Peter Cooper Hewitt.
1903: "Wood's Glass", Robert William Woods. Infrared-radiation communication system. Oh gee, I wonder why.
1904: pantograph, John Q. Brown.
1906: audion tube, Lee De Forest.
1907: electrostatic precipitator, Frederick G. Cottwell. One problem: this was in use by French & German aviators for years before Cottwell acquired blueprints, then had it patented.
1910: electric headset, Nathaniel Baldwin. Same problem as above.
1911: the electric engine starter, Charles F. Kettering. Same problem as above x2.
1912: aviation autopilot system, Lawrence Sperry. Same problem as above x3.
1912: the electric blanket, Sidney Russell. Same problem as above x4.
1914: the regenerative circuit, Edwin Armstrong.
1915: single sideband modulation, John Renshaw Carson.
1916: condenser microphone, Edward Christopher Wente.
1918: superheterodyne receiver, also by Edwin Armstrong.
1918: crystal oscillator, Alexander M. Nicholson. Blueprints stolen by Walter Guyton Cady.
1919: silica gel, Walter A. Patrick.
1926: liquid-fuel rocket, Robert Hutchings Goddard. Blueprints stolen from you know who and where.
1927: negative feedback amplifier, Harold Stephen Black. Most likely from stolen blueprints.

Now for the ones that will rock your world:
1929: the cyclotron, Ernest O. Lawrence.
1929: mass production of Freon, Charles Midgely & Charles Kettering.
1929: mass production of sunglasses, Sam Foster of Foster Grant Company. Required kit for all pilots.
1931: Aerogel, Samuel Stevens Kistler. This one invention solves thousands of bullshit reports & propaganda.
1932: radio telescope, Karl Guthe Jansky.
1933: multi-plane camera, Ub Iwerks.
1933: multiple frequency modulation systems, Edwin Armstrong again.

Technologies all across the world advanced too rapidly in certain sectors. The Befores were threatened, felt those should only be in military hands. Warned you of this yet I did NOT discover full meanings or implications until now. Combined technologies was not one mere answer, it is all of them.

1937: the first functional binary digital computer, supposedly by George Stibitz, another kike muppet skimming inventions from the Jew-S Patent Office. M-9 Gun Control Director? Definitely not his, stolen from captured German blueprints. He had a great number of shekel friends.
1937: photo-sensitive & radiation-sensitive glass, Daniel Stooky.
1937: polarized glass, Edwin Land.
1937: Klystron, Russell & Sigurd Varian.
1938: Nylon & Teflon, more Du Pont shekel-goblin business.
1939: the Vocoder. Given to Homer Dudley by judeo-bolshevik friend from Russia. Russians had been using it since 1921. At this year ANYONE'S voice could be picked out from a crowd of >10,000 and copied near perfectly. I should not have to tell you how sinister this one device is.
1940: the Fluxgate magnetometer, Victor Vacquier. At this time electromagnetic fields can be precisely mapped out.
1941: aromatic acrylic fibers. Like Aerogel, this solves even more bullshit reports.

>Many blanks now filled in, thank you. Examination of terrestrial craters matches same forms of topography. Not a fun topic to learn/understand. Many 'unknowns' relisted to simple impacts.

Regarding impacts. High speed impacts create explosions, explosions are spherical, therefore no matter the angle of the descent the crater will always be round because the explosion makes the crater.

Regarding the High Magnesium Region on Mercury. Some odd interesting info: Mercury has 0.5 Mercury days in a Mercury year. Therefore 1 day on Mercury takes 2 Mercury years. The result of this is Mercury, at any particular point in its orbit is facing one particular way or the direct 180deg opposite way each orbit.

This means that the HMR faces the incoming asteroids one year and then the opposite side on the alternate years. The HMR is huge but the opposite area only has a crater with a much smaller splash of Magnesium. This suggests the Mg meteor collisions can't be often (or somehow ends up happening only on alternate Mercury alternate orbits - unlikely).

Or its the area that gets sideswipped. Asteroids and meteors when they head out near Jupiter can be sped up or slowed down by Jupiter. If they get slowed down they spiral closer and closer to the sun. If they have low inclination they can slowly spiral down towards the sun until they scrape Mercury. So this might be a low angle scrape past area. I need to do more work on this still. Perhaps spiralling outward works too.

I am looking at the 1946/7 Earth splatter events as having precursors going back to 1896. A soft disturbance of the 1946 impact object on prior down spiralling orbits leading up to the main event in 1946. Alternatively there are multiple down spiralling events, see pics.

Taurids, Perseids and Aquariid meteor showers have objects in them that are swinging by Mercury often. I am very puzzled that scientists aren't looking more at Mercury as the cause of some meteor showers rather than comet orbits which is clearly not working well ( https://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/?meteor_streams ) so many gaps.

The reason is historical, early in history (1866!!) it was noticed that some meteor orbits matched comet orbits, therefore comets dust makes ALL meteors! *sigh* And that is where the belief system has remained ever since. I am very confused because the attached pics show Mercury orbit as a focal point in 1951 for many streams and objects!! Suppressed knowledge or am I uninformed on something?

I have correlated the regeneration of the Taurids in 1946 to the Ghost Rockets/Flying Discs. I am working on the Ghost Fliers. I have found reports of wobbling meteors in 1927 and 1931, 1946 has wobbling meteors too, which the scientists outright rejected and then forgot them because it did not fit preconceived notions.

I am currently building up a meteor shower history to try and get a handle on what is going on.

Pic4 is a meteor with only the iron hull, the presumed Mg/Si core chemically reacted away. Pic5 is the Leonid 1833 Meteor storm. Leonids did not exist before this.
