"Oh, you're right now that I think about it," she says, a little dejected. She reaches into her hair and pulls out the ebony fly and holds it out to him, her palm open.
"A deal is a deal," she says with an almost imperceptible twitch of her eye.
He jumps up from his chair, "A pleasure doing business with you," he says, grasping the fly.
As he does so, she clamps her hand around his.
"It would be a shame if there were any,... inconsistencies in our agreement. You understand of course," she says, growing slowly, eerily closer.

"I mean if I were to be operating outside of our agreement, you would have grounds to take offense and seek satisfaction."
She says, clamping down on his forearm with the hand that just had the fly.

Thez strikes at him repeatedly, but most of her attacks are glancing, ineffective, or outright miss. Only a few make contact.

The bombardment on the cube increases. From 1.5 strikes/ second, to 2.8 strikes/second, until its up to 5.1 strikes/second. As the bombardment increases, more and more cracks appear on the surface of the cube.
