The Baltimare group proceeds in their task of investigating a strange group of creatures, mostly Griffins, who seem to be involved in creature smuggling. Up on the Boulderfield,-Whinnysota line, the northern group settles in for a cold night along with their new friends and prisoners.

She taps a bar on the fairly open cage, like a holding cell in a police station, and the kirin stands up and moves away. She looks frightened, though she did already.

Well, the problem with placing her in the northern group now is that her purposes and their purposes don’t and won’t entirely work together well, at least for the mission they are on now. They are also 100 miles within Changeling territory, rather than simply bear it. The Southern group suits Inferno’s temperament better, and I have a more immediate idea about how to use an NPC “handler” for her. But they are something like 700 miles away from the Changeling border and frankly are more likely to fight Ponies than changelings. However, if she’s been recently transferred from Griffonia, Baltimare is not an unlikely place for her to arrive
