This was essentially a headlock/facelock not a choke.
If anything was fucking up Floyd's breathing it might've been the weight of Chauvin's right shin on the Floyd's scapulae (upper back) since that would make it hard to expand the lungs.
Seems pretty clear he was about 50/50 split between pinning Floyd's jaw and slightly compressing Floyd's breathing.
Also there seems to be no effort to convey basic shit like Chauvin's height and weight. We know Floyd was 6'6" and 232lbs so why don't we know Chauvin's height and weight to get an idea of relative force?
