How are we able do that? How are we able to single you out on an anonymous board?
Could it be that you constantly leave telltale signs of what a massive nigger you are? That your posts are so low-IQ that everyone knows it's you?

Unfortunately its shaping up to be a completely average and boring marine disaster, according to all of my knowledgeable sources it looks like ship lost power, started to drift after it regained power, and interacted with the channel bottom while they had no rudder.

Investigation will likely come up that the ships maintenance was poor, the fuel had issues, or both

It's shut down the port, and Baltimore port is pretty important to the automobile industry. It has special widened ramps that make it easy to slide cars onto ships, so it won't be easy for cars to simply be moved to another port.
Maybe it's not the most important thing for the country, but it's certainly important to Baltimore.

Take up the White Man's burden—
Send forth the best ye breed—
Go bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives' need;
To wait in heavy harness
On fluttered folk and wild—
Your new-caught, sullen peoples,
Half devil and half child.

Take up the White Man's burden—
In patience to abide,
To veil the threat of terror
And check the show of pride;
By open speech and simple,
An hundred times made plain.
To seek another's profit,
And work another's gain.

Take up the White Man's burden—
The savage wars of peace—
Fill full the mouth of Famine
And bid the sickness cease;
And when your goal is nearest
The end for others sought,
Watch Sloth and heathen Folly
Bring all your hopes to nought.

Take up the White Man's burden—
No tawdry rule of kings,
But toil of serf and sweeper—
The tale of common things.
The ports ye shall not enter,
The roads ye shall not tread,
Go make them with your living,
And mark them with your dead!

Take up the White Man's burden—
And reap his old reward:
The blame of those ye better,
The hate of those ye guard—
The cry of hosts ye humour
(Ah, slowly!) toward the light:—
"Why brought ye us from bondage,
Our loved Egyptian night?"

Take up the White Man's burden—
Ye dare not stoop to less
Nor call too loud on Freedom
To cloak your weariness;
By all ye cry or whisper,
By all ye leave or do,
The silent, sullen peoples
Shall weigh your Gods and you.

Take up the White Man's burden—
Have done with childish days—
The lightly proffered laurel,
The easy, ungrudged praise.
Comes now, to search your manhood
Through all the thankless years,
Cold-edged with dear-bought wisdom,
The judgment of your peers!

Let us see. The ship is a mammoth of 100,000 tons with a huge momentum (inertia), the exit channel is 100% straight, so the rudder was fixed at 0 degree angle because there wasn't any need of correct course to exit the port and pass through the bridge's pillars. Then the question is why the ship steered away from his straight course, in other words, given the ship's inertia, it doesn't look possible any deviation at less, the rudder was moved from the command bridge. All which may point at sabotage.

I would love to give you some leeway because CN assumed you've been watching his videos and doesn't properly explain interaction effects, but keep in mind that the water surrounding the ship weighs significantly more than the ship and can move it around essentially with impunity (this is how ships move)

I don't know if you graduated high school but if you did, you likely learned about the Bernoulli principle. I'm not going to explain it to you in full but the same channel did two videos that do a very surface level overview of interaction effects within channels:

It could be that the idiots simply jerked the steering wheel left and right during the moment where the ship lost profile ion, causing them to go in the wrong direction as soon as it suddenly regained propulsion. An outcome derivative of absolute idiocy.

Okay, if you took basic physics you know how fluid dynamics work on a surface level. In a narrow and shallow channel, you can very easily go from high fluid pressure to low fluid pressure by altering the shape of the channel. As explained in the video you had to have watched because you screecapped the part of the video RIGHT AFTER HE TALKED ABOUT IT the Curtis Bay channel opens on the starboard side of the vessel right as they lose power, which would create a lower pressure on that side (less restriction from the channel on that side means the ship isn't "pushing" the water as hard into the sides of the main channel which would pull the ship to starboard, which is exactly how the ship moved.

>RIGHT AFTER HE TALKED ABOUT IT the Curtis Bay channel opens on the starboard side of the vessel right as they lose power, which would create a lower pressure on that side
I'm pretty aware of low pressure flows because I read about holes made inside boilers of steam locomotives and how they can improve dramatically thermal efficiency. That said, I estimate that low pressure flow on the channel' side is of not practical consequence against a solid body of 100K tons moving at 10 miles an hour.

how much do you think that mass of water weighs around the ship?
I'll give you a hint, if it was less than the weight of the ship, the ship would sink.

Density has to compound with speed flow to make the equation significant. Being an inner channel inside a port, I deduce that the water flow speed is near zero.

Okay, I'm going to give you one last chance to not be a retard before I stop feeding you attention.
How does a ship move in the water? What does it push on to create propulsion? When you answer that question, ask yourself how Newton's second law of motion applies to that answer and you'll have a much different deduction.

If you want to get technical (and you obviously don't because you're bordering on retarded here) here's a paper measuring bottom shear and the squat effect, which are tangentially related to what we're talking about and have a lot of the numbers you're looking for, even if they apply to the bottom and not so much the sides of a vessel: https://www.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:1747340/FULLTEXT01.pdf

If none of this helps you understand what I'm talking about, think about how an aircraft wing works and realize its the exact same principle just with a lighter fluid at higher speeds (but Bernoulli teaches us that we can do this and still achieve similar pressure effects)

Okay, so I probably don't have to explain the ground effect to you.
Take a wing under ground effect, then remove the ground. You experience a loss of lift, expressible as a force toward the ground, correct?

Turn the entire thing on its side and put it in water and you've got the force I'm describing here.

These forces are extremely well known to mariners and especially to harbor pilots who interact with these static channels every day, and they'd have been corrected for with rudder inputs normally but the ship lost power as it passed the intersecting channel.

100% this was directly caused by a mechanical failure and 50/50 on if they could have saved it if they were better mariners but I doubt it

It is derailing when your stupidity prevents you from having basic reading comprehension. It was explained to you multiple times that the ship was legally required to have local pilots, that there were records of those pilots, and that it was normal for them to not be listed among crew. Unfortunately your massive ego combined with your tiny intellect prevented you from understanding this simple point for 20+ posts, by which point the topic of the thread had shifted from "talking about the bridge happening" to "trying to get this annoying boomer who can't read to shut the fuck up and stop posting."

Even if it hypothetically weren't one, who stands to benefit from this? It messes with Baltimore's economy, but not cripplingly so. Nobody important was injured in the accident. It hasn't caused widespread panic in ways that terror attacks are supposed to. Nothing of note is grounded in the port other than a some cars.
If there were evidence of conspiracy I'd entertain the thought, but it feels like grasping at straws.

Well, yesterday I didn't want to irritate any longer that anon arguing with me about the physics of flow pressure, but I must argue that that ship is the size of a Nimitz class aircarrier and making it turn more than 30 degrees in just 4 minutes (as shown in the screenshots from the post with trips >>372000 ) it may take a hard movement of the rudder.

Additionally we have the curious detail of the missing Ukrainian captain and the issue that the pilots still remain anonymous, being they key eye-witnesses.

Probably scrubbed on direction of the glowniggers, who didn't want anything public that could be used by Russians to spread anti-ukraine sentiment. Either that or it would be investigation/liability/insurance stuff.

As much as I love conspiracy explanations, there are a couple of events that happened to make the turn make sense, especially compared to other accidents. First, they appear the throw the ship into reverse. People have pointed out smoke that suggests they might have tried full throttle against their momentum. Second, they sent out a mayday to the shore and bridge to try and prevent more damage, which suggests they are trying to not fucking hit the thing in their way and going to cause them to be sued. Third, regardless of the captain, there are still shitskins holding the wheel and Costa Concordia learned firsthand what happens when they are steering under the command of someone other than their nationality. They can't understand what port and starboard mean outside their language and dialect, especially under pressure.

I agree that it moved way too fucking fast to not have been steered into it, but I think they turned the wrong way and the captain tried to reverse because the crew was too stupid to turn correctly.

I find it fascinating that this stupid fuck is still mindlessly ranting about a topic he knows absolutely nothing about. You have made zero meaningful points here beyond "i dink dis wut hapun cuz da gubmind iz bad!"

Why do boomers insist on pretending to be experts on things they are completely clueless about? You clearly have no experience in maritime travel and sailing. Why do you think your unfounded, uneducated, and simple-minded guesswork is worth sharing with us? Your ego and lack of self-awareness is genuinely disgusting, and low IQ whites like yourselves are the reason the west in on its knees. I hope you don't breed. Fuck you.
